On April 20, actor couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. They shared a flashback shot from their wedding on their individual Instagram profiles. Abhishek is seen putting a ring on Aishwarya’s finger in the photo.

During the filming of Dhoom 2, Abhishek Bachchan fell in love with Rai. His engagement was revealed on January 14, 2007, and his father, Amitabh Bachchan, later confirmed it. On April 20, 2007, the couple married according to traditional Hindu ceremonies of the Bunt community, to which she belongs. Ceremonies from North India and Bengal were also performed. The wedding took held in a private ceremony at Amitabh Bachchan’s home in Juhu. They’ve been dubbed a super couple by the Indian press. Rai is very close to her family, and before her marriage, she resided with them in Bandra, Mumbai.

Abhishek is seen performing a ceremony while clutching Aishwarya’s hand, which is decorated with jewels. Another hand, possibly that of Abhishek Bachchan’s father, actor Amitabh Bachchan, was seen near them holding a little bowl.
Sparkles, a red heart, a Nazar amulet, infinity, a smiling face with three hearts, a rainbow, and a heart with a ribbon were among the emojis Aishwarya Rai used to share the message. Abhishek also posted the photo, although he didn’t include a caption.

They have collaborated on a number of films, including Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (2000), Kuch Naa Kaho (2003), Umrao Jaan and Dhoom 2 (2006), Guru (2007), and Raavan (2010).
Abhishek recently appeared in Dasvi alongside Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. Jio Cinema and Netflix are streaming the film, which had a direct-to-digital release. Tushar Jalota directed the film, which is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and Bake My Cake Films.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is set to star in Mani Ratnam’s forthcoming flick Ponniyin Selvan. The film will be released in theatres on September 30th of this year. PS-1 is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s famous Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan and is the first of a two-part bilingual series.
