Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is off to Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya to start the shooting of his film ‘Ram Setu’. The actor shared on Thursday a picture, in which he posed along with his co-actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. The three appeared to be having a candid chat outside what appeared to be a chartered flight.

“A special film, a special start…Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey begins. Need special wishes from all you guys,” Kumar tweeted.
‘Ram Setu’ is a film being directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra.
Announcing the film on Diwali last year, Kumar tweeted, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge (setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt – Ram Setu.”
He also shared its poster.
The release date of the film hasn’t been announced.
