Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to marry on Thursday. Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, and sister, Riddhima Kapoor, confirmed to the press on Wednesday that the wedding will be held on Thursday. Now, just looking at Alia and Ranbir’s decked-out houses and the streets on which they are located confirms that their wedding will be a beautiful affair.
As the wedding festivities began on Wednesday, Alia’s home in Juhu was lit up with lights. Alia’s home is whitewashed and decked out in lights from head to toe.

Similarly, Ranbir’s Pali Hill home was decked out for the occasion. Even the street in front of it was illuminated by lights strung from trees. A video of the location shows fans gathered around the area in awe of the decorations.
While Neetu and Riddhima have confirmed that the wedding will take place on April 14, Ranbir’s uncle Randhir Kapoor had previously stated that the wedding will take place on April 15.

On Wednesday, Ranbir’s Vastu residence hosted a Haldi and Mehendi ceremony. Neetu, Riddhima, and her daughter Samara, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor, Rima Jain and Armaan Jain, Shweta Nanda, and her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda were among those who attended the function. Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, father, Mahesh Bhatt, and sisters Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt attended the ceremony.

As the wedding festivities got underway, Alia and Ranbir’s Brahmastra team sent congratulatory messages to the couple. As a gift for the two of them, romantic stills from Brahmastra were revealed to their fans, along with a preview of the song Kesariya. Brahmastra is their first film together, and it will be released in theatres on September 9th of this year.
