Allu Arjun was born on April 8, 1983, in Hyderabad, India, to a Hindu-Telugu family. His father, Allu Arvind, is a movie producer, while his mother, Nirmala, is a stay-at-home mom. Allu Venkatesh, his older brother, and Allu Sirish, his younger brother, are both actors. Allu Arjun is the nephew of renowned Telugu actor Chiranjeevi. He is also the grandson of Allu Ramalingaiah, a well-known Telugu comedy actor. Ram Charan Teja, his cousin, is a prominent Tollywood actor.

Allu Arjun attended PBBS School and St. Patrick’s School for his primary education. Later, he was accepted into MSR College in Hyderabad, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Allu Arjun made his film debut in 2003 with Gangotri. He rose to fame as the lead actor in Sukumar’s cult masterpiece Arya (2004), for which he received a Nandi Special Jury Award. Allu’s reputation grew with the action films Bunny (2005) and Desamuduru (2006). (2007). Allu appeared in the love drama Parugu in 2008, for which he received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu.

Allu went on to star in films including Arya 2 (2009), Vedam (2010), Julayi (2012), Race Gurram (2014), S/O Satyamurthy (2015), Rudhramadevi (2015), Sarrainodu (2016), DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), and Pushpa: The Rise (2020). (2021).

The success of Arya enhanced his career, and his subsequent hit films Arya 2 (2009), Julayi (2012), and Iddarammayilatho (2013) helped him to emerge as one of the top stars in the Telugu film industry. Surendar Reddy’s Race Gurram became a great hit in his career, and it even garnered him a good following in non-Telugu areas. His back-to-back hits included S/O Satyamurthy, Sarrinodu, and DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham. 

His performances in Vedam as a lower-class cable operator and Race Gurram as a carefree street smart man earned him two more Filmfare Awards for Best Actor – Telugu. Allu was also nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Rudhramadevi as prince Gona Ganna Reddy. Allu gained widespread appreciation for his portrayal in Pushpa: The Rise, which became the highest-grossing Indian picture in 2021 and ranks among the top Telugu films of all time.

He is one of South India’s highest-paid actors and is also noted for his danceability. Allu has won numerous honours, including five Filmfare Awards South and five Nandi Awards. He has been included in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2014, based on his income and popularity.

Arjun has an estimated net worth of around US$47 million

Allu married Sneha Reddy in Hyderabad on March 6, 2011. They have two children, a son named Ayaan and a girl named Arha. Allu Arha will make her acting debut as Prince Bharata in the upcoming film Shaakuntalam.
