Just three days before Angus Cloud reportedly died from an apparent overdose, the Euphoria star seemed to be in good spirits at an album release party for the rap group MacArthur Maze in Bay Area.

The 25-year-old actor was photographed attending the local album release party on Friday. He seemed to be having a good time and appeared to be enjoying himself with a number of other people. Video clips from the event also show Cloud in good spirits although he is not heard speaking in the clips.

According to The Sun, eyewitnesses at the party saw Cloud hang around for few hours. During the time that he was there at the party, the actor reportedly did not show any outwardly signs of angst or discomfort. A friend of his, who was not named in the report, said that Angus was happy to be back home. He had just gotten back from Ireland after his father’s funeral.

The friend says Angus had told him he was sad. No more than 72 hours later, he was found unresponsive at his family’s home in Oakland. Cloud’s family believes that the star had taken his father’s death hard and was struggling to cope with losing a parent.
