New Zealand singer Lorde debuted her new song at the Boardmasters Festival in Newquay, UK, on Friday night. Videos of her performance have gone viral on social media.

Meanwhile, a photo of her set list from the music festival has gone viral on Twitter. In the list, the songs have been titled ‘Silver Moon’ and ‘Invisible Ink’. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.

The 26-year-old singer’s surprise performance came a day after she dropped a cryptic post on Instagram.

She shared a series of photos of herself swimming in a pool.

“After the show we went swimming.. these times are beautiful and they freak me out and there’s so much to tell you,” Lorde wrote.

“No this is not the start of anything out there, just want u to know there’s a light on inside me .. show it to you soon.”

Her fans flooded the comments section, welcoming the singer back on social media.

“Finally. We won’t be waiting another two years,” one person wrote.

“You’re alive?” another quipped.

Lorde’s last album was 2021’s Solar Power.

The same year, the singer deleted all her Instagram posts and quit social media.

Speaking on Australian radio show ‘Ash London Live’ about her decision of quitting social media, she said, “It’s been divine, I really enjoy it. I’m a shy sensitive person. It’s a lot of information, I realise how I was just pummelling myself with headlines and thoughts from other people all day and it didn’t give me much room to have ideas or brainstorm things. I’m very grateful for that now.”
