Singer Ariana Grande has gone missing on Twitter, sending her fans into a tizzy.
The 28-year-old appears to have deactivated her official Twitter account on Christmas eve.
“This account doesn’t exist. Try searching for another,” her official @arianagrande account now reads.
Her fans took quick notice of her absence and soon, her name began trending on the social media platform.
“Ariana went from telling us she loves us every day to deactivating… these r dark times,” one person wrote.
Another user wrote, “I never thought we would be talking about ariana grande deactivating her twitter account on christmas eve.”
“Ariana deactivating isn’t surprising.. people including many of her OWN fans have been saying the vilest things against her without consequences, her mental health comes first so I hope she’ll be ok,” wrote another person.
However, the ‘Sweetener’ singer’s Instagram account is still up. In fact, she shared promotional posts for the Netflix movie ‘Don’t Look Up’ with a song by Grande and musician Kid Cudi. She also posted a Christmas Eve wish to her 284 million followers. “Merry : )”
2021 was a busy year for the singer, both personally and professionally. She appeared for her first season as a judge on ‘The Voice,‘ married Los Angeles luxury realtor Dalton Gomez and also launched a beauty line.
Last month, Grande revealed that she will be starring opposite Oscar-nominated singer-actress Cynthia Erivo in the film adaption of the long-running Broadway musical, “Wicked.”
