US pop star Britney Spears, who hit the headlines last week because of her conservatorship, has posted a video on her Instagram account titled “DOS AND DONTS if you are a pap, fan or ANYONE in my space.” She is on a vacation in Hawaii and is sharing pictures from her holiday.

She wrote, “So being here in Maui is pretty crazy now … the paps know where I am and it’s really not fun !!!! The 39-year-old singer added that it was difficult to go anywhere as these “silly faces” follow her to take pictures. Britney Spears added that the paps and fans distort her body and mess with the image and “it’s embarrassing.”

The pop singer said that her “body is not perfect but I definitely do NOT look like how they portray me” and said it was “rude” before adding some NSFW language.

The video included the tip, “Don’t talk to me while I’m texting. It’s rude,” and included footage of a mask and bikini wearing Spears walking on the beach.

Britney Spears is fighting against her conservator, her father. Since 2008, he manages her personal and business matters and last week she appeared in the Los Angeles court for the first time in two years. She said, “I just want my life back.

The 39-year-old singer appealed the court to end the ‘abusive’ management of her money, career, and life affairs by father. Britney, in 2008, was put under conservatorship, through court’s order after she faced a public mental health crisis.

Conservatorship is the appointment of a legal guardian or protector by a judge for individuals, who are unable to make their own decisions or those suffering from mental or other illnesses.  

The singer is seeking to dismiss her father from the role as she told the court that her conservatorship is “doing way more harm than good.”

The interest in Britney Spears’ legal row increased in 2021 after the release of a documentary, raming Britney Spears, which is centered on the same issue.

Britney Spears’ conservatorship arrangement is divided into two parts: finances and estate. The 39-year-old has not managed her finances since 2008.
