BTS have become a global phenomenon with their iconic music. While TikTok and Instagram reels have become saturated with their latest track ‘Butter’, their experimentation with varied genres is what keeps them ruling the charts consistently. The K-pop act is all set to charm their fans again with a 2-day musical event on ‘The Tonight Show’, starring Jimmy Fallon.

Kicking off on July 13, 2021, the event will mark BTS’ US Television debut of their new single ‘Permission to Dance’. The 7-piece boy band will be performing the shriek-inducing ‘Permission to Dance’ on Tuesday and the Billboard Hot 100 No.1 ‘Butter’ on the second. They will further be chatting with the late-night host about what’s in store for the BTS Army.

This comes after the 5-day event on the Tonight Show, last year in October 2020, where Jimin, Jungkook, V, Suga, Jin, RM and J-Hope performed several hits, including ‘Idol’, ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Black Swan’.

BTS released ‘Permission to Dance’ on July 9, 2021. The official video of the ‘Permission to Dance’ shows the band members shaking a leg dressed up as cowboys. For those who don’t know, the single is born out of a collaboration with the popular music artist Ed Sheeran, marking his second collaboration with the K-pop act after ‘Make It Right’. The single has already become the new favourite of the Netizens to dance to.

While Twitter is abuzz with the news of the 2-day BTS event, the BTS Army is all set to lose themselves like no one’s watching to the two smashing hits tonight.

BTS is a 7-piece K-pop boy band that rose to fame with their foot-tapping music. Known to be genre-defying, BTS plays with a multitude of genres to deliver music that breaks the charts. Their recent single ‘Butter’ has become the 8th debut in history to be at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks.
