Comedian Vir Das had a humorous exchange on Twitter with the account of a Kolkata-based retail chain. Great Eastern Retail, a store for home electricals, posted a video on their Twitter handle, which featured dancer and comedian Raghav Juyal testing Samsung Galaxy A53’s features.

However, the caption reads “Famous Indian comedian Vir Das tried and tested out the Samsung GalaxyA53 #NoShakeCam phone on his recent trip to Jaisalmer and is mind blown with his experience!”

Das jokingly responded to this tweet. “Thanks guys. I’m totally mind blown, especially because…that ain’t me,” he tweeted.

Some fans were not quite happy with this mess up.

“They have reduced you to the hat you wear during the shows! What a blunder!” one user tweeted. Vir Das is often seen wearing hats while performing stand-up comedy shows, which is what led to this confusion, the user concludes.

However, many others joked about the whole situation. “They really got Flipkart Vir Das and thought they would get away with it”, a user said as he addressed Juyal as ‘Flipkart Vir Das’.

“When you order Vir Das from Shein,” tweeted another.

Raghav Juyal has not commented on the post yet.
