Actor Dalip Tahil’s son Dhruv has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case. The Anti Narcotic Cell also found bank transactions and Whatsapp chats between Dhruv and a drug peddler Muzaamil Abdul Shaikh who has recently been arrested too.

The upset Dalip Tahil said that “I don’t want to comment at the moment.”

“He has been arrested under the NDPS act and is presently being kept at Bandra crime branch. He will be produced in court tomorrow,” DCP Datta Nalawade, ANC, told Times of India on Wednesday.

The Whatsapp chats of Shaikh revealed that Dhruv had procured drugs several times between 2019 and 2021 and an IANS report stated that Dhruv had also deposited money in Shaikh’s account six times for purchasing drugs.

Police said Dhruv was in touch with Shaikh from March 2019 till now.
