In honor of Doctor Who Day celebrations, the BBC released a fresh new look of David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor.

A Twitter post from the show’s official account read, “A new life… with an old face! Is there more to the Doctor’s latest regeneration than we know?”

David Tennant is best recognized for his roles as Barty Crouch, Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and as the Tenth Doctor in the British television series Doctor Who.

David Tennant’s Age 

David Tennant was born on April 18, 1971, in West Lothian, Scotland. He is  51 years old.

Family 

He was born to David John McDonald,  a minister who served as the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. He was raised along with his brother Blair and sister Karen in Ralston, Renfrewshire, where his father served as the town pastor. 

His  maternal great-grandparents William and Agnes Blair, were Northern Irish Protestants from County Londonderry who signed the Ulster Covenant in 1912. Tennant’s maternal grandpa, Archie McLeod was one of the best footballer’s of his time. 

Tennant met Georgia Moffet, back in 2008, on the set of a Doctor Who episode titled ‘The Doctor’s Daughter’, where she played the role of playing the genetically created daughter of Doctor Who. 

After three years of dating, Georgia Moffet and David Tennant got engaged on January 2011. The couple tied the knot on December 30, 2011, and celebrated the occasion with a huge party on New Year’s Eve.

They have five children – Ty, Olive, Wilfred, Birdie, and Doris. Their first child Olive was born on March 2011. Georgia gave birth to Wilfred, the couple’s second child, in May 2012.  Birdie was born in 2015 and the couple recently welcomed their fifth child Doris. The family now resides in a West London residence.
