Deepika Padukone is taking on jury duty for this year’s upcoming Cannes festival. The official Twitter account of the Festival de Cannes published the news, announcing French actor Vincent Lindon as the Jury President of the 75th Festival de Cannes, along with the eight jury members.
The actress has made multiple appearances on the Cannes red carpet, and each outfit has generated a lot of attention online.
Here are some of Deepika's top fashion moments from the Cannes Film Festival-
1. Sheer Tulle Marchesa Gown
Deepika Padukone let her hair down literally as she came out in a jewel-toned maroon Marchesa Notte gown for her red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival's opening ceremony in 2017. She looked stunning with her tresses left open, exuding confidence and elan in her one-shoulder floor-sweeping gown. The delicate embroidery added a traditional touch to the outfit, while the tulle covering gave her a seductive aspect.
2. Ashi Studio Fuchsia Pink Gown
Deepika Padukone looked stunning at Cannes 2018, wearing a stunning fuchsia pink Ashi studio gown with fairy ruffles. The actress finished off her ensemble with matching pumps. Deepika is accessorised with a pair of emerald drop earrings and a ring by designer Lorraine Schwartz. She wore dramatic eye makeup with smokey eyes.
3. Victoria Hayes Pantsuit
Cannes 2018 has to be the actor's most underappreciated Cannes look. While Deepika did not walk the red carpet in the Victoria Hayes purple pantsuit, she did turn heads at the meet & greet. She went with sleek hair and striking jewellery.
4 .The Zuhair Murad Dress
At Cannes 2018, Deepika wore this gorgeous embellished Zuhair Murad number, complete with a dramatic and gorgeous train.
5. Giambattista Valli Green Gown
At Cannes 2019, the actress wore a lime green Giambattista Valli tulle gown with a pale pink bow and silk belt to the Dolor Y Gloria (Pain and Glory) screening. She accessorised the gown with an Emily-London flowery headpiece and bare feet.
6. Black and White Dundas Gown
At Cannes 2019, Deepika wore puff sleeves, a plunging neckline, a thigh-high slit, a big train, and, to top it all off, a spectacular black bow branching out from a belt at the waist completed the extravagant design. Padukone looked stunning in the dress, which was exquisite, stylishly over-the-top, and provocative.
She wore her hair in a taut high ponytail with a leather hair wrap, bold eyeliner, and pink lipstick. She is accessorised with diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, including hoop earrings, a portrait-cut ring, and stacked bracelets, for a touch of glitz. She walked around in Aquazzura heeled sandals.
