Dhanashree Verma has undergone a successful ACI (Autologous Chondrocyte
Implantation), she announced on Instagram Friday. Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s
wife, the 25-year-old Verma, wrote: “Successful surgery. Every setback is a
setup for a comeback. Going to bounce back stronger than before cuz that’s GODS
PLAN. Performance upgrade…New ACI loading. Thank you for all your prayers &
wishes. Love you.”
Reacting to his
wife’s post, Yuzvendra Chahal commented: “Get well soon wifey.” Chahal’s Indian
cricket team colleague, Surya Kumar Yadav, wrote: “Speedy recovery,” with a
bicep emoji.
Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal were in the news last month after Verma dropped Chahal from her Instagram name. There was speculation about the couple’s relationship because Dhanashree’s dropping the Chahal surname came right after Yuzvendra shared a picture with the message “New Life Loading” on Instagram.
Dhanashree and Chahal are the Indian internet’s favourite couple. They are often seen dancing together on Instagram reels. When speculation about a rift in their relationship reached the couple, Yuzvendra wrote on Instagram: “A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly, put an end to it. Love and Light to Everyone.”

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal got married in 2020. Dhanashree is a popular content creator on YouTube.
Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal met each other after Chahal enrolled in one of Verma’s dance classes.
“It started off as a student-teacher relationship in April. He had seen my dance videos on YouTube and knew about my work. During the lockdown, Yuzi decided to learn a few new things, including dance. So, he got in touch with me and we started our classes. Slowly we became friends and sort of felt a connect,” Verma had said in an earlier interview.

Chahal and Verma got engaged on August 8, 2020. Announcing their engagement, Chahal tweeted an image captioned: “We said ‘Yes’ along with our families #rokaceremony.”
Dhanashree, aside from being a dancer, is also a trained dentist. She did her dental degree from DY Patil University in Navi Mumbai.
