The funeral of Jacky Oh, the longtime partner of YouTuber DC Young Fly, was held at Atlanta’s Jackson Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday.

Her funeral shone the light back on her death, which reportedly happened after she underwent a mommy makeover in Miami. Social media users have previously identified her Miami cosmetic surgeon as Dr Zachary Okhah, which also led to fans wondering whether the surgeon will be investigated by authorities. A Twitter user @TheCosmeticLane mentioned that she might have suffered a heart attack during the procedure and was found unresponsive on May 31 in a Miami hotel.

Okhah, an MD in cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery in Miami, Florida, is reportedly not board certified, The US Sun has revealed recently. The Board of American Plastic Surgery said it has not certified him as a specialist in the field.

According to the board, Okhah is eligible for certification if he completes the required specialty training courses and passes the examinations administered by the Board. It is, however, legal to perform plastic surgery procedures with just a medical license. Experts do recommend doctors go through the certification process.

Okhah is known across the US for his renowned liposuction techniques and Brazilian Butt Lifts and he frequently posts the results of his successful surgeries on Instagram.

In the BBL procedure, fat from elsewhere in the body is transferred to the butt to give the woman a curvier body. An increasing number of women seem to be getting this treatment in order to keep up with the beauty standards and hourglass figure trends on social media for influencers.

However, the popular procedure is not without risks as it’s estimated that one in 3,000 patients dies during the procedure, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

A mommy makeover can include Tummy Tuck, Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Liposuction, Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery, or any combination of these. Traditionally, the standard Mommy Makeover entails a Tummy tuck and breast augmentation.

@TheCosmeticLane had also shared a photo of Okhah posing with Jacky Oh, with the caption, “Getting ready for my mommy makeover” on his Instagram account which has over 279,000 followers. However, the photo was deleted after Jacky Oh’s death, which raised a lot of red flags with social media users. Some people also called it a coverup and urged the police to investigate the surgeon.

One of the Twitter users also pointed out that Okhah had incurred a lot of negative reviews for his services and customers in the past were not left satisfied.
