American actor Dwayne Johnson, also known by his ring name The Rock, is all set to voice Krypto the Superdog in Warner Bros’ upcoming animated film ‘DC League of Super-Pets’.

The superhero action-adventure, co-directed by Sam Levine, will hit the theatres on May 20, 2022. It is the first feature to star Superman’s faithful best friend.

Sharing a news article on Twitter, the former WWE star tweeted, “Been ‘classified’ for a while now – excited to finally announce it, because I know the FUN this movie will bring families
From #BlackAdam to Superman’s dog, #Krypto it’s a privilege to help build out our @DCComics Universe. ‘DC’s LEAGUE OF SUPER PETS’.”

The full voice-over cast will be announced in the near future.

This is the second project of Dwayne with DC. He is currently working on his first DC film ‘Black Adam’, in which he plays the title character. The movie is backed by Seven Bucks, which is Dwayne’s production company.
