Director Zack Snyder’s rendition of the 2017 film ‘Justice League’ starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Henry Cavill released on March 18, 2021.
The four-hour-long film has attracted praise and criticism from viewers all over the world within hours of its release.
Streaming now on HBO Max, the movie follows Bruce Wayne, inspired by Superman’s selfless act, and Diane Prince facing an even bigger threat than before. The two are set to recruit a team to fight against a newly awakened enemy.
Marvel’s Avengers Endgame directors Russo Brothers congratulated Synder on Twitter.
Surprisingly, The New York Times gave a critical review: The film “plods through seemingly endless (and pointless) exposition, adding enough back story for each Justice League hero to strong-arm us into investing in these characters so we care when they finally put on the team jerseys and step out onto the court.”
The Independent wrote, “an exhausting four-hour behemoth that doesn’t particularly serve anyone outside of the minority that demanded its existence.”
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the #SnyderCut:
The movies earned 77% on Rotten Tomatoes with 152 reviews.
Henry Cavill who plays Superman in the movie took to social media to congratulate Zack Snyder. He wrote, “…I couldn’t be happier to see your vision for Justice League released.”
Ben Afflick is being appreciated for his portrayal of the Dark Knight all over.
Fans are thoroughly admiring the “majestic” feel of the director’s magnum opus.
As per the reviews by millions of fans, the conversation between Batman and Joker in the Synder Cut movie is rated to be one of the best to date.
