American singer-songwriter Jazmine Marie Sullivan, one of the most talented vocalists of the United States, is all set to perform the national anthem during the Super Bowl.
The 33-year-old, who may not look familiar to many, has been a big part of America’s music industry and has topped Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in 2010.

Jazmine debuted in 2008 with her album ‘Fearless’, a critically acclaimed and commercial success.
Despite earning 12 Grammy nominations, the singer has been unable to bag any. She scored her first five nominations in 2009, two nominations in 2010 and one in 2011. Flash forward to 2016, and Sullivan earned three additional nominations, followed by another in 2020.
Her most recent and fourth album titled ‘Heaux Tales’ was released on January 8, 2021, that highlights the experiences of millennial Black women.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Jazmine will perform on the big night alongside fellow singer Eric Church.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said, “I have not met Eric yet, I’m excited to meet him, we definitely come from two totally different everything.”
“But, I’m excited. I think it will be cool to blend the different sounds of music and just show some unity,” she added.
