Former Bhutanese army officer Sangay Tsheltrim made his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai‘, featuring Salman Khan, after a fortuitous encounter with Salman that opened up a Bollywood career for him. And the Bhutanese has loved every minute of it ever since. “I am still in daze. From the time the ‘Radhe’ trailer launched, I am just enjoying each moment”, said the Tsheltrim in an exclusive interview with Indian Express.
Tsheltrim spoke about the encounter with the star and also shared about his journey ever since. To represent Bhutan in international fitness competitions, he took early retirement from the army in 2013. And after winning many accolades, he decided to inaugurate a gym of his own in his hometown, and also began acting, reported Indian Express.

To have a talk for an over-the-top (OTT) film with filmmaker Haider Khan, the former army officer went to Mumbai. “One night he told me he was going to meet Salman Khan on the Dabangg set and would I be interested to come along”, said Ksheltrim, reported Indian Express. And what followed that was something he called a “dream come true”.
“Two years ago on this day, I was the happiest person”, wrote Bhutanese on Instagram, posting a picture of himself with Salman. He also expressed his gratitude towards Haider Khan for the opportunity, “Thank you my brother , my mentor, my director…Forever Grateful”.

Ksheltrim narrated one of his first experiences with Salman to Indian Express, “He sat and spoke to me for more than an hour, and only when he was asked to come on the floors did he step out. It was so kind of him to give that respect and love to a stranger”. He also said that fitness and bodybuilding were their common subjects in conversations.
