Three biggest movie stars from south India — Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi –are coming together for the action-packed film ‘Vikram’, the first look of which was released on Saturday. 

Sharing the first look poster on Twitter, Haasan wrote, “Only valour should wear the crown. I dare again to render before you the best of our talents. Like before, grant us victory!!”

The movie is Haasan‘s 232nd film and is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the movie and Girish Gangadhar is the cinematography. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, the film is slated to release in 2022.

Soon after the first look of the movie was out, several fans of the actors took to Twitter to express their excitement. 

“All three actors have always been selecting different roles and challenges it would be great to see three of them together,” one person wrote. 

“Vikram, is our heart, mind, soul, and our breath. Lokesh ji, take my word, I will alone see, buy my tickets minimum 100 tickets. Share ur Google pay….. Salute to Hon Indian Cinema Chief Dr. Kamalhassan Sir….”  another person commented.

Sharing the first look, actor Suniel Shetty wrote, “Fabulous” is the right word to describe this poster!! @ikamalhaasan Sir you inspire us at so many levels. Absolutely love your look @VijaySethuOffl Hats off and all the very best to the entire team of Vikram!! “

On his 66th birthday in November 2020, Haasan had shared the title and teaser of the movie.

“Happy to launch the title teaser of my film today; directed by Mr @Dir_Lokesh,” Haasan wrote.

In April, Fahad confirmed that he is going to be a part of the movie and the following month, Sethupathi was also brought onboard. 

Haasan will also be seen in the upcoming Tamil film ‘Indian 2’, directed by filmmaker Shankar.
