The first photo from the sets of HBO’s ‘Sex and the City’ revival is now out!! The shooting of the 10-episode series, which will follow the lives of Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), has already begun in New York City.
Sarah took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo from the first-day shoot of the series. In the photo, Cynthia can be seen sporting a striped shirt, high-waisted white slacks, and a belt. Kristin is seen wearing a off-the-shoulder top, which she has paired with a black pencil skirt. Meanwhile, Parker is sporting a high-waisted striped skirt and a white blouse.

Soon, several of her colleagues and friends took to the comments section to express their excitement.
“Wow wow wow! THE BEAUTY! THE EXCITEMENT! How thrilling!” wrote Carrie Dragshaw.
“Love this Good luck with everything Everyone is so excited you are back,” Amy Sedaris commented.
The show aired from 1998 to 2004 and also inspired two films that were released in 2008 and 2010. While Sarah , Cynthia and Kristin will be reprising their roles, Kim Cattrall, who played the character of Samantha, did not sign on for the show.

Speaking about how the three are excited to reprise their roles, Parker had said earlier this year, ”I think that Cynthia [Nixon], Kristin [Davis], and I are all excited about the time that has passed. You know, who are they in this world now? Have they adapted? What part have they played?”

”Where have they fallen short as women, as friends, and how are they finding their way? Did they move with momentum? Are they like some people who are confused, threatened, nervous [by what’s happening in the world]? I’m so curious and excited to see how the writers imagine these women today,” She added.
