Former English-Irish pop band One Direction, often termed as 1D, celebrated their 10-year anniversary on Thursday by launching an ‘immersive’ website to let fans relive memories. The band, which broke up in 2015, came back with a surprise tweet on Wednesday, after being dormant for almost two years on the platform.

In the tweet, the band teased the launch of their website and wrote, “Tomorrow! You and me got a whole lot of history #10YearsOf1D”.

Fans were excited and anticipated until the band launched the website on Thursday. This time too, they took to Twitter to announce the launch of their website which is dedicated for reliving all the memories the band has created.

“Happy #10YearsOf1D Day! Relive your favourite One Direction memories here: https://1D.lnk.to/10YearsOf1DWebsiteTA,” the tweet read.

Fans were too excited to contain themselves and crashed the site within seconds of its launch.

The band is known for its songs like “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Little Things”. The members  Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne said before disbanding that it was temporary. However, five years later, no such thing has happened.
