Amazon Prime Video has released the official trailer for the second season of the highly anticipated Amazon Original anthology series Modern Love. The new season is slated to arrive on August 13. In this season, love breaks all the rules. The season is stuffed with the love of different types starting from a test of friends vs. lovers to a romance with an ex%u2019s ex.

The series is an anthology of modern romances, based on the New York Times column and podcast. The first season of the series debuted in October 2019, starred actors like Dev Patel, Anne Hathaway, Tine Fey, Andrew Scott, and many others. The eight-part second season brings to life a collection of stories about relationships, connections, betrayals, and revelations almost everyone faces in their lives.

The current installment is filled with a star-studded cast like Kit Harrington, Tobias Menzies, Lucy Boynton, Anna Paquin, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Tom Burke, Zoe Chao, Minnie Driver, Grace Edwards to name a few. John Carney is the writer, director, and executive producer of the sow.
In an official statement, Amazon said, “In this season, love breaks all the rules. An old flame reignited. A test of friends vs. lovers. A night girl and her day boy. A romance with an ex’s ex. A one-night stand. An impossible promise. A ghost of a lost lover. An exploration of sexuality.”

Based upon a personal essay that Andrew Rannells penned for the column, he has directed an episode in Modern Love. Amazon series was filmed at a lot of places like Albany, Schenectady, and Troy, New York, and Dublin, Ireland.
All episodes of the same will premiere on Prime Video on Friday, August 13 in more than 240 countries worldwide. Modern Love S2 will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, August 13.
