Olivia Newton-John passed away on Monday due to breast cancer. She was 73 years old at the time of her death.  She recorded her Grammy Award-winning single ‘I honestly Love You’ in 1974.

Over the years, John Travolta and Newton-John‘s chemistry has been lauded by many people and they were often romantically linked to each other, though they, on several occassions, denied this rumour.

Travolta and Newton-John co-starred in Grease as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, and they sang several duets together, including “Summer Nights” and, of course, “You’re the One That I Want.”

The duo reunited in 2018 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the iconic film musical.

Let’s look at all the songs featuring both artists:-

1) Summer Nights (1978)

The popular song “Summer Nights” is from the musical ‘Grease’. Danny Zuko (Travolta) and Sandy Olsson (Newton-John) had a summer love affair, which inspired the song.

2) We go together (1978)

This is another song from the movie Grease.

3) Have You Never Been Mellow (1975)

The song is the lead single of the namesake album which was released in the year 1975.

4) Heart Attack (1983)

The song was released in the year 1983.

5) Hopelessly Devoted To You (1978)

The song was released in the movie ‘Grease in 1978’.

6) I honestly love you (1974)

This song is about a couple who clearly have feelings for each other but are also attached to others (perhaps married). Despite their chemistry, the female singer (Newton-John) says she’s not going to do anything about it. Why? Because she truly adores him.

7) You are the one that I want (1978)

Another song from the movie Grease. In the song, Danny expresses pleasant shock and arousal at Sandy’s transformation, with Sandy responding that Danny must “shape up” to prove himself capable of treating Sandy the right way.
