Gigi Hadid, a well-known supermodel, has recently broken her silence on the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Gigi, who is of Palestinian descent through her father Mohamed Hadid, took to Instagram to express her empathy for those affected by the conflict. She condemned the “terrorizing of innocent people” under the Free Palestine movement and extended her love and support to both her Palestinian and Jewish friends.

The conflict had escalated with retaliatory strikes by Israel following attacks by Hamas, resulting in significant casualties on both sides. Gigi emphasized the tragic loss of innocent lives, particularly children, and her daily responsibility to acknowledge the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation.

She also stressed her commitment to advocating for Palestinians while maintaining that it does not involve harm to Jewish individuals. Gigi rejected the idea that terrorizing innocent people benefits the Free Palestine movement, as it perpetuates a cycle of retaliation, causing suffering to civilians on both sides and reinforcing misconceptions that supporting Palestine equates to antisemitism.
