The anime is an adaptation of the Japanese manga series. I.G produces the series and Haruichi furudate is the author and illustrator of the anime. Production has officially announced that this would be Haikyuu Season 5 instead of a new name. It has also announced the release details. It will continue as Haikyuu To The Top Season 2 and end as Haikyuu Season 2. It can be called whatever you want, since both Haikyuu Season 5 (or Haikyuu To The Top Season 2) are still applicable.
