Akshay Kumar made his viewers laugh their guts out with the 2000 film ‘Hera Pheri’. Considered one of the most successful movies in his career, ‘Hera Pheri’ co-starred Paresh Rawal, Suneil Shetty and Tabu, and continues to tickle our funny bones everytime we watch it.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa

This 2007 comedy-horror film became a cult favourite, also starring Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in lead roles. The movie was an amalgamation of horror elements and psychological angles, teamed with Akshay’s perfect comic timing. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ is regarded as one of his best movies.

Singh Is Kinng

The 2008 Anees Bazmee directorial turned out to be a huge hit at the box office.The action-comedy follows the journey of Happy, a carefree man. Akshay Kumar’s comic timing in the film was commendable. The audience also loved watching the onscreen chemistry between Akshay and Katrina Kaif.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

Starring Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, the film’s aim was to raise awareness about the importance of toilets in India, which otherwise is largely dependent on open defecation. The movie sent out an important message about hygiene and its relevance, and went on to become a hit.
