India’s Harnaaz Sandhu is the Miss Universe 2021. The 21-year-old, who hails from Chandigarh, has brought glory to the entire country after 21 years. Lara Dutta was the last to win Miss Universe from India in the year 2000.

The 70th edition was also special for India in another way as Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela was one of the judges at the event that took place in Israel. So it was obvious for this Indian supporter to feel overwhelmed when Harnaaz was announced the new title holder.

While Harnaaz burst into tears on stage when the Miss Universe winner was announced, Urvashi also started crying when she saw her. Urvashi shared the video and wrote, “As Miss Universe, we made this was my best decision. I couldn’t stop myself from crying. We have done India.”
In another video, Urvashi is holding the Indian flag in her hand and standing next to the winner. In this video, Harnaaz tells Urvashi that she can’t believe I stand by you. Both are seen laughing.

Urvashi Rautela represented India in Miss Universe in 2015 and then made her Bollywood debut.
