The new episode of Ahsoka is out and people cannot stop talking about the scene where Hayden Christensen was seen back as Anakin Skywalker and interacting with the character of Ahsoka Tano, played by Rosario Dawson.

The scene of their encounter went viral online with loyal Star Wars fans commenting how the moment brought back memories from their childhood, especially when Anakin says “Hello, Snips.” Director Dave Filoni was credited with the decision to bring back Anakin the way he did in the series.

Here are some of the reactions to the overwhelming scene:

According to Collider, Ahsoka episode 4 delivers a much stronger episode than last week’s which could be due to its duration. “Those additional minutes helped Dave Filoni bridge the gap between the two episodes and set the stage for where the back half of the season is headed—to find the MacGuffin, or, rather, Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen),” the site said in its review of the episode.

The latest episode is titled “Fallen Jedi.” It begins in Ahsoka’s (Rosario Dawson) ship, where she, Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), and Huyang (David Tennant) are making repairs to the vessel after their run-in with Morgan Elsbeth’s (Diana Lee Inosanto) lackeys. Ahsoka seemed concerned about what might happen if Morgan was able to re-team with Thrawn. If it were to happen, it could plunge the galaxy back into deadly conflict.

Filoni expertly used the theory of World Between Worlds to bring back Anakin in Ahsoka’s moment of need. Although fans are going gaga over the scene, according to Collider, the scene, did not feel “earned.” “Instead, it’s a cliffhanger, rather than a tool to better the episode’s emotional stakes,” Collider reported.

Anakin admits that he was surprised to see Ahsoka as he did not expect to see her so soon. Whether this is a hint that will be elaborated on in the following episodes is still to be seen.
