Actors Henry Cavill and Eiza González have signed up to appear in Guy Ritchie’s next World War II film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. The movie, which will be based on the well-known book of the same name written by war correspondent and military historian Damien Lewis, will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer out of a screenplay by Guy Ritchie and Arash Amel.

The movie, which is based on actual events, will follow Ian Fleming, author of the James Bond series, and UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill as they form a clandestine organisation to fight in World War II. The clandestine brigade was regarded as a forerunner of the present Black Ops because of its unconventional warfare tactics, which were thought to have helped establish new battle strategies to defeat the Nazis and alter the course of the war.

Because of Bruckheimer’s first-look agreement with the studio, the project was initially in development through Paramount, however, the studio has decided not to distribute the movie. This will be the film with the largest budget that is up for sale during the American Film Market, which will take place the following week, Deadline reported.

Cavill is most known for playing Clark Kent/Superman in the DC Extended Universe movies Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. He also stars in the Netflix series The Witcher in seasons 1 through 3 and is being replaced by Liam Hemsworth in season 4.
