Actor Issa Rae surprised her fans on Monday by sharing photos from her secret nuptials on Instagram. The 36-year-old ‘Insecure’ star revealed that she tied the knot with her longtime beau Louis Diame in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a commune in the South of France, on Sunday. She shared some glamorous photos in which she can be seen wearing a custom Vera Wang wedding gown.
“A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawanggang dress. B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed. C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband. Big thanks to @whiteedenweddings for being so gracious and accommodating and making this feel so real and special,” she captioned the post.

Soon, several of her friends and colleagues took to the comments section to congratulate the actor.

Rae has always kept her private life a secret. Rumors of her engagement first began doing the rounds in 2019 after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on the cover of a magazine.
She has told on multiple occasions that she prefers to keep her personal life private.
“I get so much feedback about everything. The one thing I don’t need feedback on is who I’m sleeping with,” she told in an interview with Marie Claire in 2018.
