Artist Madonna celebrated her 64th birthday in Italy on August 16, and images posted from the Like a Virgin singer’s account give a peek into the party.

“Sicilian queens”, she captioned a series of pictures which show Madonna in a blue-and-white-print maxi dress and blue hat. Daughters Mercy, 16, and twins Estere and Stella, 9, can also be seen in floral dresses, while her son David, 16, went for a button-down with trousers. The birthday celebrations in Italy included food, drinks, and some music, as per the pictures.

Madonna also posted a video of herself twirling to That’s Amore, in her birthday outfit. Later, she can be seen in the backseat of a car, sandwiched between two women, kissing them both.

“Birthday kisses with my side bitches”, Madonna captioned the video which also shows her longtime manager Guy Oseary. “It’s my birthday week and I’m weak for my love”, the singer is heard saying in the video, and later adds, “I left my baby mama at home and I’m sitting here with my side bitches! We ridin’ tonight, yeah!”

Just a few days back, on August 11, Madonna celebrated the birthday of her son Rocco Ritchie. He turned 22, and the singer organized a birthday dinner, where she danced with a traditional Italian band and helped a musician play his accordion. 

“From one Leo to another! Happy birthday Rocco”, Madonna said to her son with British director Guy Ritchie.

She posted a video of the celebrations along with their arrival to Italy, captioning it “Sicilian Clan”. 

Madonna received plenty of wishes on her birthday pictures, from the likes of Asia Argento, Rosie O’Donnell and Diplo. Diplo even commented, “Looking like an Italian cookie”. 

In other news, the pop star is directing and co-writing a biopic on her life, with Ozark actor Julia Garner slated to play Madonna.
