Actor Danny Masterson has been held guilty of two counts of rape by a jury in Los Angeles. Three women accused the actor of sexual assault at his home in Hollywood from 2001 to 2003.

As per reports, three women were former members of the Church of Scientology. The actor known for “That ‘70s Show” was accused of three counts but was held guilty of two counts of forcible rape. 

After he was held guilty, several internet users showed interest in the actor’s personal life and religion.

Is Danny Masterson Jewish?

Danny Masterson is 47 years old. He got exponential fame for his iconic roles in television shows which include That 70s Show, The Ranch, and Men At Work. He worked from 1980 to 2018.

As reported, Danny Masterson follows Scientology and is a Scientologist. He is not Jewish.

With this verdict, the 47-year-old could face up to 30 years to life in prison as the sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 4.

The jury reached the verdict on Wednesday after a trial of six days. The 47-year-old actor pleaded not guilty to three counts of a felony but was held guilty after the investigation.

All three women said they were initially hesitant to speak with police because church teachings discouraged reporting to authorities. Eventually, the women left the church.

One woman claimed the actor shoved a pillow on her face and raped her in 2003. Jane Doe who was dating the actor in 2001, claimed that he raped her while she was asleep. Though her claim was ruled a mistrial.

Doe after the trial said, “I thank the jury for its service, and while I’m encouraged that Danny Masterson will face some criminal punishment, I am devastated that he has dodged criminal accountability for his heinous conduct against me”.
