- The attorney has come to the limelight following her tough cross-examination of Amber Heard
Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez has been grabbing the limelight for her tough cross-examination of Amber Heard.
Now, she has been asked upfront if she is dating her client. Social media users have started to discuss and praise her online, but some have started to suggest that she's actually dating her client, Depp.
Vasquez was openly asked about the rumors while leaving Circuit Court in Fairfax County. She laughed off the reporter's question and refused to answer.
According to a TMZ report, "Camille is happily taken. She's dating a British fella who works in real estate - with whom she's been in a serious relationship for several months."
Vasquez is part of Depp's legal team representing him in court as he is suing his former wife Amber Heard for $50 million over a 2018 op-ed she wrote stating that she was a survivor of domestic abuse.

Though Depp was never mentioned by name in the article, he argues that the insinuation has resulted in a massive loss in career earnings. Heard, 36, is counter-suing her former partner for $100 million.
The highly-publicised trial has become the source of memes and parodies. While Heard's legal team has been mocked, Depp's legal team has been applauded for their handling of the case. Heard has accused Depp of trying to kill her.
At one point, Vasquez got Heard, 36, to admit she didn't donate her full $7 million divorce settlement to charity despite previously claiming to have done so.
The attorney squeezed in some sharp put-downs as part of her line of questioning.
'Mr. Depp got you that role in Aquaman didn't he?' she asked on Tuesday after the court previously heard audio of Depp mocking the film in a fight.
Vasquez also accused the actress of editing a photo showing her allegedly injured face. She asked Heard: 'You just edited these photographs?' Heard said: 'Never'.
Vasquez asked if Heard 'enhanced the saturation to make your face look more red?'
Heard said: 'That's incorrect, I didn't touch it'.
She claimed that Depp is just another one of Heard's many victims and accused her of hitting her ex-girlfriend, citing an article reporting on her 2009 arrest at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
