Donda Academy, Kanye West’s “secretive school,” requires parents to sign a non-disclosure agreement to enroll their children, according to Page Six.

The non-disclosures, which are reportedly in place to keep a tight lid on things that happen at the school, came out in two families’ interviews with Rolling Stone. The families were not identified in the Rolling Stone article, and they gave no information regarding the confidentiality agreements.

However, Tamar Andrews, one of Ye’s consultants, reportedly hit back, claiming that only parents signed the forms and insisting that the entire procedure was informal, whatever that means.

Andrews told Rolling Stone, “Honestly, we don’t care if people know about the school.

He continued, “The people that want to come to the school are looking for a good Christian school in that area and they know that we’re there … there is also a certain notoriety that comes with being affiliated with Donda. So, I don’t know that we have to advertise, which is a blessing and a curse.”

The Donda Academy, a Christian prep school with headquarters in Simi Valley, California, is named in memory of the late rapper’s mother and is intended to be the first of many campuses across the nation, according to Kanye West. However, Rolling Stone has confirmed that the school is not yet accredited and that its 28-year-old principal has never had a formal teaching position. The novel school’s website lists “parkour” as an “enrichment course,” despite the fact that there is little information available about it. “The process of Donda school is for the parishioners, for the attendees,” it states.

The school’s secrecy, according to Malik Yusef, a collaborator of West’s who helped develop the concept for it. “I don’t think Kanye needs to tell the world what he’s doing, so that he can be under more scrutiny.” He added: “People choose to bring their kids to Donda Academy for a sense of privacy. A sense of care, a sense of concern, a sense of love, an environment of health, and an environment of wealth, an environment of learning, and putting God as a focus.”
