‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) 13 will premiere on Sunday with actor Amitabh Bachchan returning to the show as the host. The latest season of the show will bring back the studio audience along with the lifeline ‘audience poll’.
One of the major changes this season will be the modification of ‘fastest finger first’ to ‘fastest finger first – triple test’. Instead of answering in chronological order, the KBC 13 contestants will need to take three general knowledge multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
The contestant to take the shortest time to answer all three questions correctly will be given the opportunity to sit on the ‘Hot Seat’.

Instead of the ‘Karamveer’ episode where real-life heroes played the KBC game with Amitabh Bachchan, season 13 will have ‘Shaandar Shukravaar’. This special Friday episode will feature celebrity guests from different backgrounds who will play the game for a social cause.
Another change in the latest season is the name of the timer. The game timer will now be called ‘Dhuk-Dhuk Ji’.

The set also has been revamped for a fresh look. The floor has been redesigned with LED, and the use of Augmented Reality (AR) will add more spunk. The gameplay graphics and motorized virtual ceiling have been re-engineered.
This season’s theme for the show is ‘Jawaab Aap Hi Ho’ (you are the answer). The brand new season will celebrate every individual’s right to ‘Gyaan, Dhyan and Samman’.
KBC 13 will be available on SonyLIV for the audience to play the game live in the comfort of their home. The winners will be given exciting prizes. Top scorers will also get a chance to play the real game with Amitabh Bachchan in the studio during the last week of the season.
