Keke Palmer has a surprising new duet coming soon.
The actress/singer, 29, will be releasing a new track with none other than Usher.
The duo announced their new song, Boyfriend, on Instagram on Tuesday.
The song appears to allude to the controversy with Usher, 44, heard singing, ‘Somebody said that your boyfriend is looking for me.’

May 2021: Palmer and Jackson first cross paths at a Diddy-hosted Insecure after-party in May 2021. Alejandro “Dro” Pea, played by Jackson’s brother Sarunas Jackson, had an appearance on the well-known HBO series.
August 2021: The couple becomes Instagram friends, and the Nope star shares a kissing image along with other images from her 28th birthday celebration. For me, it’s about the specifics. She claims that “this” was the turning point in her life when she “really stepped into this kind of boss behaviour [of doing] whatever the hell I want to do.” “With someone, I’ve never felt happier than I do right now. So why would I make an effort to conceal this person? That requires a lot more effort than merely existing in and participating in my life. You comprehend what I’m saying?”
December 2022: Palmer reveals she’s pregnant while hosting Saturday Night Live.
December 2022: Jackson kisses Palmer’s baby bump in a sweet Instagram Boomerang. “Mom n dad,” he wrote over the Instagram story, per People.
January 2023: Palmer posts a sweet birthday tribute to Jackson.
January 2023: Palmer posts a series of pictures of her growing baby bump in which she and Jackson are shown as the “King and Queen” with a young “prince” in tow. “Long ago, at a place not so far away… The King and Queen met up to play,” she writes in the description of the Instagram picture. “As many sunsets passed by, the drama evolved into a love story. Currently, a prince is on his way.
On the same day as the images, the couple hosts an extravagant “Once Upon a Baby” party, and partygoers share pictures and videos from the event, including one of Palmer and Jackson dancing to Beyoncé.

February 2023: On an episode of her podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, which was released on February 3, 2023, Palmer describes how she learned she was expecting a child. She claims to have taken a pregnancy test on a “random” whim, believing it to be negative when she threw the test in the trash.
February 2023: Leodis Andrellton Jackson, Palmer and Jackson’s first child, was born on February 25, 2023.
April 2023: Palmer and Jackson pose with baby Leo at the closing night screening of her Big Boss documentary at the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival.
July 2023: Jackson seemed to publicly shame Palmer on Twitter over the sheer dress she wore to a Usher concert in Vegas. “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” Jackson writes in response to a video of his girlfriend being serenaded by the singer.
