The Hindi version of ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has shattered yet another record by joining the list of the highest-grossing Hindi films in the country by crossing the Rs. 300 crore mark on its tenth day at the box office.

Only the 2nd South language dubbed in Hindi movie, after #Baahubali2 to join the Rs. 300 crs Nett club..10th Hindi movie to do this feat!” film trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote on Twitter.
Other films in the top 10 list include ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Secret Superstar’ and ‘PK’.
According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, films in the Rs. 300 crore club include ‘Sultan’ in 2016, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in 2017, ‘Padmaavat’ in 2018, ‘Sanju’ in 2018 and ‘War’ in 2019.
“KGF2 continues to rule hearts and BO.. Will score TRIPLE CENTURY today [second Sun; Day 11]. First film to hit ₹ 300 cr since War [2019]. 10th film to swim past ₹ 300 cr mark. [Week 2] Fri 11.56 cr, Sat 18.25 cr. Total: ₹ 298.44 cr,” Taran said, as reported by HT.
In its worldwide collection, the film is on its way to surpass Rs. 800 crore mark, with a possibility to beat ‘Dangal’ as the second most successful movie ever. It is also the highest-grossing film since the pandemic began.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is directed by Prashanth Neel, and stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, Srinidhi Shetty, John Kokken, and Saran.
The film also made Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ bite the dust, with the latter being able to amass merely Rs. 4 crores on its first day at the box office.
The action-drama sequel revolves around Rocky, played by Yash, who is a powerful underdog who goes on to become a violent gangster that conquers the mining empire in the land of Kolar Gold Fields.
