Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has shared a video on the 17th anniversary of his hit film ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’ which celebrates the friendship between his character Rohit and the alien Jaadu, who became the icon of the film.
Taking to social media, Hrithik wrote in the caption, “Some friendships defy space and time. Someday hopefully soon they will meet again. Miss you jaadu. #KoiMilGaya.”
The movie starred Hrithik as Rohit Verma, a young man challenged intellectually. He meets Jaadu, the alien, who accidentally is left behind on earth by the people of his planet. Rohit and Jaadu become the best of friend, with Jaadu helping him cope with his life.
The 2003 film, directed by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan, stars Preity Zinta and Rekha in pivotal roles. The film became a cult favourite at the time and the father-son duo continued to add films to the franchise, ‘Krrish’ being the sequel of it.
Hrithik and Rakesh are now working on the making of ‘Krrish 4’. The movie was scheduled for a 2020 release but got delayed as Rakesh Roshan got diagnosed with cancer. It is now in pre-production stage.
