Love Island is one of the most popular dating shows on television. Charming Aussie is back with Love Island season 3 and it seems singletons can’t wait to be a part of her season. According to The Herald Sun on Wednesday, 48,000 people have expressed interest in applying via the online application form. The reported cited research from Uswitch which tracked online searches for applications for reality shows.

Apart from Love Island being the most popular show, The Block%u2019s is also among the run an average of 10,560 searches each year. Big Brother reboot also attracted 8,000 searches and The Amazing Race had 4,680. Meanwhile, it was surprising to see Married At First Sight recording the lowest number of online searches with just 840 people looking for the application form of the show.

Coming to the %u2018The Bachelor%u2019 fared better with 2,520 applicants. It was recently announced that Love Island Australia would return for a third season and fans are going gaga over the news. The filming of the show is set to film in Port Douglas, Queensland. Auditions for the show are open singletons who are looking for love and hoping to win a major cash prize in the process as reported by Channel Nine recently.

With COVID-19 restrictions and safety protocols halting overseas travel and TV production, it was feared the reality TV show was going to be axed. A new batch of singles will light up your screens as they head north to the Love Island villa in search of love and fun in the sun.
