Through Quality Control Music and 300 Entertainment, Migos released their self-titled debut album in July 2015.

In 2013, Migos released Versace, a song off their mixtape Y.R.N., as their first commercial single (Young Rich Ni**as). The trio later inked a deal with Motown and Capitol Records in February 2017, and in January 2018, they released Culture II as a follow-up to the latter record, which became their second number-one album in the US.
