The hit Spanish heist series “La Casa De Papel,” also known as “Money Heist” internationally, is back for its fifth and final season.

The show has twisted and changed over the previous four seasons as a gang of criminals attempt to carry off apparently impossible heists. The series developed by Álex Pina received an international Emmy in 2018 for best drama series.

Here’s everything you need to know before you start the final season.

In May, Netflix revealed the release date for the final season of “Money Heist” in an explosive teaser trailer that showed a group of thieves being attacked in the Bank of Spain. Part five, on the other hand, differs from previous seasons in two ways. Part five will have ten episodes, as opposed to the previous two seasons, which had eight.

Furthermore, these episodes will be split into two parts, with the first half being released in volume one on September 3. The other half will be released exactly three months later, on December 3, in volume two.

The creator of “Money Heist” Álex Pina said that the first volume will “create the sensation of a season finale or series finale” whilst the second focuses on “the emotional situation of the characters.”

The last 4 seasons of “Money Heist” have been like a dramatic game of chess as a group of criminals try to pull off impossible heists. The majority of the cast members who appear in the first episode of season five are listed on IMDB, including Nairobi, who was killed in season four.

The main feature of “Money Heist” is its non-linear story, which moves from the current time of the heist to when it was planned. As a result, Flores is likely to appear in flashback scenes, similar to Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Paco Tous (Moscow), and Roberto Garcia (Oslo), all of whom appeared in the series even after their characters died.

The rest of the crew is back, including favorites like Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), Rio, Denver (Jaime Lorente), Stockholm (Esther Acebo), Helsinki (Darko Peric), Raquel Murillo, and Rodrigo De la Serna’s Palermo.

Sierra and The Professor, as shown in the teaser, will also appear as antagonists. According to Deadline, Miguel ngel Silvestre from “Sense8” and Patrick Criado from “La Gran Familia Espaola” are also set to join the cast for Season 5.
