The much-awaited season of Money Heist, also known as La Casa De Papel in Spanish, is all set to release its Season 5 Vol. 2 on its OTT platform Netflix. First launched in 2017, the drama series has garnered millions of viewers and received multiple nominations and awards, such as the glorious Emmy Award for Best Drama Series in 2018.

The Spanish show revolves around the storyline of a mastermind professor played by Álvaro Morte, who recruits eight exceptional people in order to plan  the biggest heist in history. The cast includes Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Esther Acebo, Jaime Lorente and more. The show is directed by Jesús Colmenar.

With Season 5 Vol. 2, the show is planned to come to an end. The finale is said to focus on the death of Tokyo, the protagonist of the show. Played by Úrsula Corberó, the aftermath of Tokyo’ death will be the centre point of the final parts of the show.

Season 5 Vol. 2 will launch on December 3, 2021. As fans eagerly wait, Netflix scheduled a live streaming cast event on November 30, 2021, via La Casa De Papel’s official website.

The teaser for the finale was uploaded on YouTube on October 13, 2021, receiving millions of views from the show’s massive fandom. Later on, Netflix also released a full-length trailer in early November.

Mostly filmed in Madrid, Spain, Season 5 was viewed by nearly 70 million Netflix households in the first month of its release. The first five episodes were released in September and the final five will be released on December 3.

For its Indian audience, the show will be dubbed and available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

On December 1, the entire cast came together for the premiere and screening of the show’s finale. The screening took place in Madrid at the Palacio Vistalegre arena.
