The MTV VMAs have witnessed a sensational start, with rock stars bringing dazzling glamour on stage. The award ceremony is also popular for a wide range of fashion outfits, which gives artists the opportunity to experiment with their looks. Like every year, VMA 2022 has a mixture of the good, the bad and the downright ugly outfits which have baffled the online world.
Amongst the worst, the late-night TV show-host Jimmy Fallon, Dixie D’Amelio, J Balvin, Chloe Flower and songwriter Remi Wolf topped the worst dressed list. Here, have a look!

Dixie D’Amelio
The TikTok queen (or one of them, at least) showed up to the VMAs wearing an unexpectedly traditional and understated outfit. Although we don’t believe black shoes are the best pick for it and the outfit isn’t very spectacular, we can’t say she looks horrible. However, the design appears somewhat generic, which on a night like this is probably equivalent to looking horrible.
Jimmy Fallon
The late-night TV show host triggered a meme fest as soon as he made his red carpet appearance. The white shirt paired with black trousers and sneakers has become the recipe for disaster. His outfit screams of a Hawaiian tourist rather than a star worthy of the glamorous red carpet at the VMAs.

J Balvin
The In Da Ghetto singer chose a fantastic dye job on top of a cool minimalistic style from the neck down. The outfit is quite fashionable, or it would be if the man’s suit didn’t appear to be approximately three sizes bigger than him. Balvin would look much cooler if he did not try to fit into his grandpa’s clothes.
Chloe Flower
The white polka-dotted black frock of this musician screams- BORING. The lack of imagination and creativity is clearly visible in this umbrella designed dress.
Remi Wolf
The odd combination of pink and teal, makes Wolf look like a pack of walking chewing gum. Plus the latex dress seems to suffocate her and the polka-dotted socks appear to be a cherry on the disaster.
