Naga
Shaurya
, one of the rising stars of Tollywood, married Bengaluru-based interior
designer Anusha Shetty in an intimate ceremony at the Karnataka capital’s JW Marriott
Hotel on Sunday, November 20. The wedding ceremony was reportedly a close-knit
family affair.

Shaurya,
who had collapsed on a film set and had to be rushed to a hospital a few days
ago, has been taking a break from work to focus on his wedding festivities.

A day
before the wedding, the couple got engaged at a cocktail party.

Naga
Shaurya and Anusha Shetty got married at 11:25 am sharp in accordance with
rituals of a traditional south-Indian wedding.

Shaurya, 33,
donned a silk kurta with dhoti while Anusha Shetty, 30, was clad in a red Kanjeevaram
saree. Family members gathered as the young couple showered each other in
flower petals as part of rituals.

Naga
Shaurya made his Tollywood debut with the film Cricket, Girls and Beer in 2011.
He subsequently went on to win a national award for his film Chandramama
Kathalu (2014). Shaurya grew up in Vijayawada and then moved to Hyderabad where
he did a bachelors degree in commerce at the St. Mary’s College. Shaurya was an
avid tennis player.

Shaurya was
previously linked to actor Niharika Konidela, daughter of Telugu film actor and
producer Nagendra Babu. Shaurya and Shetty announced that they were getting
married earlier this year.

Meanwhile,
Shaurya’s wife Anusha N Shetty, is an architectural and luxury interior
designer. Born in 1993 in Bengaluru, Shetty too has a bachelors degree in
commerce. In 2014, Shetty graduated with a masters in business administration
from Pondicherry University.

Shetty is
an alumna of the New York School of Interior Design.

She set up
her own design label – Anusha Shetty Designs OPC Pvt. Ltd. in 2018. The company
specialises in interiors, architecture, and landscape design. Shetty has won
the Designer of the Year award twice – in 2019 and 2020 and was also named in
40 under 40 Best Interior Designers in India.
