The official trailer of ‘Sex Education’ Season 3 released September 7, 2021. The trailer showed the changes that Moordale will be going through under a new head teacher and also some jaw-dropping twists and turns. From Otis indulging in romance, to Jean being pregnant and Eric and Adam officially dating, the latest season can prove to be a roller coaster ride.

According to Netflix, the synopsis reads:

“It’s a new year, Otis is having casual sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way.

Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope (played by Jemima Kirke) tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush and a lost voicemail still looms. Prepare for commitment animals, alien phenomena, vulva cupcakes and much more of Madam Groff.”

Season 3 of the Netflix show will have regular cast members in Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Aimee-Lou Wood, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Chaneil Kular, Simone Ashley, Mimi Keene, and Tanya Reynolds are all back.

However, there are new additions to the cast: Jason Isaacs as Peter Groff, singer Dua Saleh (Cal) and Indra Ové as Elsie’s foster mother Anna.

Season three starts in a fresh narrative and a brand new school year. But the voicemail episode still looms.

The last season left the viewers on a cliff-hanger with Otis finally confessing his love for Maeve in a voicemail, but Isaac (George Robinson) got his hand on the message first and managed to delete it before Maeve heard it.

The trailer also hints at a potential kissing scene in the rain between Otis and Maeve.

Talking about the series, Asa Butterfield had told ELLE, “I think one of the reasons [the show has] done so well is because everyone just enjoys themselves. As actors, having the freedom to play with the words and experiment and be a bit goofy—these are the magic moments, which you wouldn’t be able to write into a script. And I think that really elevates the show.”

‘Sex Education’ is written and created by Laurie Nunn. It is directed by Ben Taylor and Runyararo Mapfumo. The latest season of Sex Education will premiere on Netflix on September 17, 2021
