R. Kelly, a disgraced singer and record producer, who was convicted of racketeering and multiple sex offenses against underage fans and is currently serving jail time, shockingly dropped an album called I Admit It on multiple streaming platforms on Friday, December 9.
The 13-track album features lyrics addressing the years of allegations leveled against the disgraced singer with titles like I Found Love, Good Ole Days, and Freaky Sensation. In a particularly explicit track called
I Admit it (I Did It), he talks about a lot of misdeeds that he has done in the past. Back in 2018, Kelly put the full 19-minute track on SoundCloud. However, this marks the first time it’s made it to Apple or Spotify.

According to the latest update from TMZ, the album has been pulled from both Spotify and Apple Music. A source at Sony Music told the outlet that the album was initially claimed to have been released from Legacy Release, but the news was not true. It is now believed to be a bootleg version. As to how the album was dropped is still not clear.
However, this did not stop netizens from fuming on social media about the album release. Here are some of the reactions:
“An R. Kelly album in 2022 is nuts. Checking for it is nuts. It being titled ‘I Admit It’ is nuts,” one of the Twitter users said, while another noted, “How in the hell did R. Kelly release an album called ‘I Admit It’ from jail?”
A third commented, “R. Kelly is a narcissist, a sexual predator, and pedophile….. and still releasing albums…from jail.” A Twitter user stated, “R. Kelly in prison recording his new album ‘I Admit It.'” One more raged, “Who gave R Kelly these beats yo ? Step forward , we gonna stone you.” A shocked social media user asked, “R KELLY DROPPED A NEW ALBUM???!?!?!?!?!?”
