YouTuber Puneet Kaur has claimed that businessman Raj Kundra
once sent her a direct message in connection with the supposed pornography for
which he has now been remanded into police custody. Kundra, who is married to
actor Shilpa Shetty, was arrested by the crime branch of the Mumbai Police on
Monday for his alleged involvement in making and selling pornographic material.

Instagram handle.

The YouTuber also added excerpts of the video in question,
in which she along with two of her male friends could be seen discussing the

 “I think his
account got hacked,” the other man says, and the first man notes,
“That would be giving him the benefit of the doubt.”

In February this year, five people were taken into custody for allegedly forcing women into porn movies. It was alleged that the accused promised to cast the actors in web series and on the day of the shoot, which would take place at a rented bungalow on the outskirts of Mumbai, they would change the script completely and threaten them to expose themselves in front of the camera.

Following the shoot, the accused made the videos available on mobile apps and offered subscriptions. Not just that, they would also put up advertisements on social media platforms.

“There was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai in
February 2021 about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through
some apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears
to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding
this,” the Mumbai police commissioner said in a statement.
