Rapper 50 Cent has issued an apology to singer Madonna after mocking the collection of lingerie photos she posted on Instagram last week.

“I must have hurt Madonna feelings, she went and dug up a [sic] old MTV photo from 03,” he began.

“Ok I’m sorry I did not intend to hurt your feelings.I don’t benefit from this in anyway i said what i thought when i saw the picture because of where i had seen it before i hope you accept my apology,” the 46-year-old rapper added while referring to his comparison of one of her photos to when a house falls on the Wicked Witch of the East from the “The Wizard of Oz.”

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Madonna posted a series of photos of herself wearing risqué lingerie. She and the rapper then got  into a scuffle of sorts on social media he commented on the post.

In a since-deleted post, he wrote, “That’s Madonna under the bed trying to do ‘Like A Virgin’ at 63. She shot out if she don’t get her old a– up.”

Madonna then posted a throwback photo of herself and 50 Cent with the caption, “Here is 50 Cent pretending to be my friend. Now you have decided to talk smack about me! I guess your new career is getting attention by trying to humiliate others on social media. The least elevated choice you could make as an artist and an adult.”

Meanwhile, Madonna had originally posted the photos on Instagram earlier in November; however, the social media platform took the post down after they determined it violated their nudity policy because part of her nipple was allegedly exposed.  On November 25, the singer reposted the photos, adding emojis to cover the body part in question.
