Indian rapper Raftaar and wife Komal Vohra will reportedly get divorced this year, ending their six-year-long marriage. The couple first met at a common friend’s party in 2011 and dated for a few years before getting engaged and married in 2016.

Recent media reports suggest that Raftaar, whose off-stage name is Dilin Nair, and his wife Komal Vohra have been living separately and have now decided to end their marriage. “Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial,” an unnamed source told Hindustan Times.

The couple had reportedly filed for divorce nearly two years ago, however, the formalities were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hindustan Times report further suggests that Raftaar and Vohra will make the divorce official on October 6 this year.

Komal Vohra, an interior designer, has unfollowed Raftaar on all social media platforms and has deleted all pictures of them together. Rapper and singer Raftaar has also done the same.

Raftaar’s marriage announcement was a surprise for his fans. Days after the secret marriage ceremony, the singer declared the news through a social media post. “Married to my soulmate”, he wrote while attaching a picture from the wedding.
